Hey Everybody,

I’m back to give you an update on week 3. For this week, I finally went to the iOT house, where would be doing most of our work for the later part of the summer. It was nice to see that it’s a comfortable place to where i can get a lot of my research done. Josh, who gave us a tour, was very helpful and very welcoming into any questions or issues that i have with my research project. On Wednesday, i attended Dr. Siek’s workshop that included, Technical Writing and how to write contributions for the research paper. The workshop, as usual, as very helpful and very insightful for what i needed to do for my research project. On Thursday, I went to the first GRE Class and from the class, i’m learning the basics of the GRE and trying to understand what i need to do to get a good score. I have to take a GRE Pre test so we will see how that goes. For the rest of the week, I made Trello to-do cards for the week which included: Reading about Grounded Theory, Installing Atlas.ti, and Checking transcripts for my project. I still haven’t completed the reading for Grounded Theory, but once i do i’ll be able to give ya more of a summary for next week. This week was about adjusting to my schedule and understanding exactly what i need to do for my research project. Next week, i’ll be able to give a more detailed response on my project.
