Android Studio and Elevator Pitches! Today we learned some valuable skills on how to present ourselves professionally. Initially, this was by a critique of various peoples’ websites through the world of CS. We tried to figure out what did and didn’t work and what we might do differently when given the opportunity to make our own sites. After this, we went on to develop some some skills with Android Studio. This overview took a while, but was worthwhile in terms of what was learned.

And onto some professional development. We were given the opportunity to see some elevator pitches and then create our own. This gave me the opportunity to think about what my goals really are at the moment and about what might be the best way to communicate them in a concise manner. I can’t say that today, I achieved the end goal of the pitch, but it’s good to know that I’ve got plenty of time to refine!
