Hello everyone,

Today was a sore, but fun and productive. It was sore for yesterday was my first work-out day, and y body was really feeling it today. It was also a very fun and productive. I learned about Github, which is an online source where I can store data, specifically projects on which I will be contributing with other people. I also learned about Latex, which is a great source to create nice and neat pdf files, while also getting to do a tiny bit of coding. Moreover, built my first paper circuit at the REU, it was made with copper tape, paper, solder, a battery and an LED. It was cool to see the LED light up. It will be exciting to teach the girl scouts how to build these circuits. I also was able to enjoy the presentations  given by Anna, and Tom. It was good to know more about two more of the projects that will be available this summer for the REU students. It was also very fun to go to the pool in the afternoon. The water was freezing, but after a bit of swimming it felt very good.
