Sara and I have been spending the past couple of weeks waiting on our IRB proposal revision to be approved again and trying to work with the server we have set up to handle SMS communication. We are able to send and receive and respond to texts now, though we have been struggling with finding a solution to storing data in cookies. Since Twilio only stores cookies for 4 hours, we are thinking about solving this problem by storing the information in a database. Neither of us have set up a database before, so we will be looking for advice from our advisor, Katie. Hopefully there will be good news about this to share next week as we try to get this up and running.
